| HOW TO HANDLE STRESS ?
People nowadays are often plagued my modern day problems.
Most of the time, their 'problems' are actually unfounded,
and caused by factors which they do not have control over.
So ... What can we do about it ?
Do we just do nothing about it ? Or worry ourselves to
death thinking about these problems everyday ?
Here's a solution which I have summarized :
1) With meditation, first calm your mind.
2) Break down the influencing factors that create your
doubt/fear just like you break down the aggregates of your body.
3) Analyze what you can do to remove/reduce the influencing
factors.
4) What you can do - DO IT !
5) What you cannot do - LEAVE IT !
6) Do not worry and stress yourself out on matters you
cannot control.
7) Attend to the factors that you had been unable to
do anything about it upon the arising of any opportunity.
Like in the sayings of Chinese military strategies -
"When the enemy does not move, I do not move. When the
enemy moves, I move faster than him." |
